 SENIOR BUYER/MANAGER – Multiple Locations

JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary duties will be to provide superior customer service, replenishment of a supply crib and resupply of point of use areas located on the customer site. We are seeking a motivated individual to coordinate customer needs, inventory management, cost savings initiatives and product delivery.  The position requires strong customer service, organizational and sourcing skills. This position will include the supervision of buyers and a crib attendant.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The candidate must be well versed on the operation of supply cribs and cost savings programs.  The candidate must have strong organizational, telephone and computer skills and product knowledge.  Experience with computer managed inventory system and report generation systems are a must.  Previous experience in working in a production environment will be a plus.  In particular it will be important for the successful candidate to have previous experience with any number of industrial/electrical commodities such as abrasives, cutting tools, pipe/valves/fittings, electrical, welding, filters, hand tools, power transmission, etc. The candidate must have a strong familiarity with the use of e-mail, the Internet, MS Word and Excel.

We are seeking a motivated individual to coordinate customer needs, inventory management, cost savings initiatives and product delivery. The position requires solid customer service, organizational, sourcing skills and a strong attention to detail.

The candidate must be versed on the operation of production or maintenance cribs, cost savings and supply chain management. The candidate must have good telephone skills, good computer skills and some product knowledge. Knowledge of common industrial/electrical commodities is a plus. Experience with computer managed inventory system and report generation systems are a must. The candidate must have a familiarity with the use of e-mail, the Internet, MS Word and Excel.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT TRAINEE PROGRAM

JOB DESCRIPTION 

This is a full-time, paid program designed for attendees to gain experience and an understanding of what a career at Turtle & Hughes would look like. This 12 month rotational program allows trainees to gain exposure to all areas of Turtle & Hughes operations and prepares them for future deployment within the Integrated Supply division. The goal of the program is for trainees to launch a successful career with Turtle & Hughes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

You will be exposed to various facets of the organization, which may include:

       Accounts Payable/Receivable                 Operations
      Billing (Warehouse and Direct)                 Purchasing
       Inventory Control                                      Sales
       Invoice Processing                                   Supply Chain Management
       Logistics                                                   Warehousing

Candidates must have earned a Bachelor’s Degree and have the ambition to learn an industry/business from the ground up. Analytical and organizational skills are a must, as well as good overall communication skills. Travel will be required and bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Microsoft Office Suite skills are required.
